By downloading or using TrekAssistant ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TrekAssistant. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. License
TrekAssistant grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
3. One-Time Purchase
TrekAssistant is a paid app available through the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms. All sales are final except as required by applicable law.
4. User Content & Data
All data you enter into the App (vehicle profiles, maintenance records, expenses, trips, documents) is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. TrekAssistant is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, deletion, or other circumstances.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. TrekAssistant does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. Maintenance recommendations and service intervals provided in the App are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional mechanical advice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrekAssistant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to vehicle damage, accidents, or financial losses.
7. Safety Disclaimer
Hitching guides, tire recommendations, maintenance checklists, and other safety-related content in the App are provided for informational purposes only. Always consult your vehicle's owner manual and qualified professionals for safety-critical decisions. TrekAssistant is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or property damage resulting from following App content.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
